Computed Tomography (CT SCan)

Digital Mammography




•  Abdominal Complete
•  Liver
•  Gall Bladder
•  Pancreas 4-Billiary Tree
•  Spleen
•  Aorta

  Patient must have nothing to eat or drink for at least eight hours
prior to exam.
Note: if the patient needs to take medication, they may drink a small glass of water.

•  Complete Fetal Evaluation
•  Fetal Age
•  Prostate Bladder
•  Pelvic Uterus-Ovaries

  Patient must drink 32 oz of water 1 hour before the exams or the test can not be complete.The urinary bladder must be filed in order to perform the test. Do not urinate before exam.

•   Renal - EKG
•  Testicle-Spirometric Test
•  Carotids
•  Breast
•  Thyroid Gland
•  Transvaginal

  No Preparation is necessary.
•   Stress test
•  ECHO Stress

  Clear Liquids after midnight.  
  •  Holter Monitor
  Shower is Suggested before hook up.  
•  Esophagus
•  Barium Swallow
•  UGI Series
•  Small Bowel

  Do Not eat or drink after midnight proceding
•  Barium Enema
•  IVP

  Clear liquids the day before exam
Citrate of Magnesia (10-oz) at 4:00 pm the day before
8-oz of clear liquids at 2:00 pm , 3:00 pm, 6:00 pm,
7:00 pm 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm the day before examination.
At 7:00 pm take 4 Dulcolax tablets by mouth.
1 fleet enema at 10:30 pm
nothing by mouth after midnight
At 6:00 am or two (2) hours prior to exam take
1fleet enema again.
•    Mammography

Do not use powders, deodorant or perfume on the day of your test. These products contain substances that show up on X – ray film and can cause an unsatisfactory exam. Please bring the most recent mammogram if done at another facility.

•   MRI

No preparation required. For your comfort you may wish to wear a sweat suit without metal closures

• CT Scanning

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK for 4 hours before exam
